1.What is the shortest time consumption for sending cargo to Hong Kong, Shen-Zhen and Dong-Guan from Taiwan?

Ans: Generally speaking, to send cargo from Taiwan to Hong Kong will normally take N+ 1 days. Transfer shipments from Hong Kong to Dong-Guan or Shen-Zhen will take normally N+ 2 days. It means if the shipment were picked today, and the shipment would be arrived in Hong Kong by tomorrow night or in the morning after tomorrow and for transfer goods to Shen-Zhen and Dong-Guan have to plus one more day. Reasons that influence the effective of cargo sending would relate to the flight chosen, the duration of custom clearance in the airport of Hong Kong, the time consumption of transferring cargo from Hong Kong to China and the document for custom clearance.

China-Link is the first one to guarantee the time consumption will only take 24 hours to Hong Kong and within 36 hours to Shen-Zhen and Dong-Guan. It is one of the most remarkable achievements of China-Link and not every forwarder can reach to this superior standard

2.Why China-Link is always so time efficiency than other company? What are the key points to control this procedure?

Ans: China-Link is always asking for the fastest time efficiency for cargo sending and has already reached this target. The key points are as follow:
1.China-Link is the appointed agent of Eva Air and has become the biggest forwarder for 6 years since 1989 to 2004. Therefore, China-Link can have the first priority of the space booking and decrease the percentage of the cargo off-loading.
2.China-Link has carefully considered about the flight chosen and chosen BR 857 which is the one of the late flights from Taiwan to Hong Kong to avoid the unnecessary time waste in C.K.S. Airport.
3.The custom process in Hong Kong is adopting British Custom procedure; custom clearance could be done in 24 hours. China-Link uses two shifts in the airport to do the custom clearance in the midnight which is much faster then other companies. Cargo would be send to China-Links' own warehouse (size in 35,000 square feet) by 6 o'lock in the early morning and then dispatch the shipments in the domestic of Hong Kong or transfer to China.
4.China-Link takes every procedure seriously especially in the process of every document. Carefully handle and seriously control every operating procedure which leads the successful of cargo sending.
5.The service quality between the routes from Hong Kong to China is terribly influenced by the bad service, smuggling problem and the adjustment of the motorcade¡Ketc. Hence, China-Link insists that to have own motorcades and driver. China ¡VLink has eight 10 tons truck to transfer the shipments between these two places and can easily control and manage every procedure effectively.

  3. If China-Link picked up the shipment at 1 o'lock in the afternoon, could the shipment send to Hong Kong that day?

Ans: Cargo should be in the terminal warehouse 6 hours before departure according to aviation' rule. For Eva Air BR 857 at 18:10 as an example, cargo should be in terminal warehouse before noon. Because of the good relationship of long-term cooperation between China-Link and Eva Air. China-Link has staff in C.K.S Airport to deal with situations like the shipments could not be on time to send to terminal warehouse and successfully transport the cargo to Hong Kong. Therefore, it is very important for enterprises to choose a right forwarder carefully.

4.When can I pick up my cargo when the shipments arrive in Hong Kong?

Ans: According to China-Link's procedure, if the cargo could be picked up before noon and then arranged the night flight to Hong Kong, therefore, consignee can pick up the cargo at 9:00 in China-Link's Hong Kong warehouse.

If clients need to pick up the shipment earlier than it, China-Link can arrange clients to pick up the shipment at 6:00 but clients have to pay additional overtime charge.

5.How long is the time consumption for sending cargo to Shang-Hai from Taiwan? How about to Su-Zhou, Kun-San or Song-Jian?

Ans: If the cargo were sending today, it would be arrived in Shang-Hai for N+ 1 day, the custom clearance would be N+2 days there. The time consumption for custom clearance would be N+2 days to Su-Zhou and Song-Gian and would be dispatched to factory for N+3 days.

6.Due to the influence of exporting cargo amount, will my shipment be off-loaded by the airline?

Ans: It is believed that you must have the experience of off-load. When the amount of export cargo over the capacity of the flight, airline has to decide the priority of off-loading the shipments and it will depends on of there were any unusual circumstance happened in your shipment and the characteristic of the shipment. Generally, customs' uggage and fresh food cargo and express cargo would be loading for the first priority, normal cargo in the second priority and shipments with problem would be in the last priority.

China-Link has cooperated with Eva Air for several years and is the biggest appointed agent in Taiwan. Therefore, China-Link has the competitive advantage of space booking and can efficiently decreasing the off-load percentage of cargo.

7.Most of time, my cargo has to put on a skid board. Which airline can send this kind of shipment and what is the limitation of the height for the cargo?

Ans: Let's use Boeing 747 passenger flight as an example, the height of upper deck is about 118 inches (around 300cm), the lower deck is about 64 inches (around 160cm). Most of time, the upper deck of passenger flight has to carry passengers. Therefore, the highest height limitation would be 155cm in the lower deck.

China-Link chose Eva Air BR857, which is a combination flight for both passenger and cargo; the capacity of carry passengers has decreased to 250 people from 400 people to offer more cargo space. The limitation of the height has also increased to 290 cm .

8.Besides the forwarder selection, should I also consider which airline that forwarder cooperates with?

Ans: It is very important to notice that forwarder use which airline to send your cargo. The time efficiency and safety of the shipments would be varied by different flight of each airlines, the stability of the flight schedule and the cooperation between forwarder and airlines. For the cargo capacity as an example, a cargo flight can carry 80 tons shipments, a combination flight can carry 40 tons, and a passenger flight just can carry 8~12 tons only. Sometimes passenger flight might be able to carry any cargo by the influences of passenger's luggage or the tank's fuel capacity. But it does not mean cargo flight would be the best choice. Because it has to take 9 hours to finish custom clearance after the cargo flight arrived in the airport but passenger flight just has to take 4 hours for custom clearance. Therefore, the time efficiency of air cargo is relied on the airline that forwarder chose to use.

No matter in the pattern of the flight, the stability of the flight schedule or the cooperation with the airlines, China-Link has become the number forwarder for the one who asking for the best service quality like you to choose and experience.
